A sustainable future
Calibre has been built in line with Mirvac's commitment to sustainability which not only future-proofs the asset but also creates flexibility and savings for our customers.
Buildings 2, 3, 4 and 5 are designed to an equivalent 5 Star Green Star rating and Building 1 is designed to an equivalent 4 Star Green Star rating.
All Calibre buildings are equipped with energy efficient lighting, photovoltaic solar and end-of-trip facilities. There is also 100% natural lighting to the warehouse to reduce energy bills and create savings for customers.
Additionally, each building has its own underground rainwater storage tank, with a further 150,000 litre tank which services the irrigation of the site without the need to use the town water supply. Translucent sheeting was also installed in the roof and insulation in the walls to improve thermal comfort.
