Calibre surpassed industry standards, drawing on Mirvac's expertise.

Designed in house by the award winning Mirvac Design team in conjunction with specialist industrial architects SBA Architects, Calibre delivers a blend of flexible warehousing, A-grade office space and advanced specifications with market leading technology throughout the facility. 

Calibre’s focus on quality, functionality, flexibility, customer amenity and future-proofing push the boundaries of industrial estate design and development, culminating in a unique offering to the market.

 

Flexible Warehousing 

Equipped with large hardstand areas, combination loading docks and on-grade roller doors, Calibre’s highly customisable facilities are designed to provide logistics and manufacturing companies the perfect solution to industrial warehousing.

A-Grade Office Design

The office component of each building was designed to reflect CBD A-grade office space, not normally used in industrial warehousing. This meant working closely with our industrial builders and architects to enable them to adjust to the new style, requiring a higher level of specification.

Customer Experience

A key aspect of Calibre’s design is focused towards fostering the growth of a community within the precinct with outdoor courtyards at each building to encourage collaboration between customers. There is also a wider strategy planned to enhance the experience of the Estate and create a shared economy; driving synergies and efficiencies through business connections. Customers have shown interest in the shared economy proposed for the Estate.

Placemaking & Amenity

Mirvac invested heavily in placemaking and amenity for the site. Working with landscape architect, Habit8, the landscaping complements the architecture of the buildings, procuring substantial vegetation and mature trees for high quality presentation of the Estate.

Sustainable Design

Calibre has been built with great consideration towards reducing environmental impact and future-proofing. Premium technologies such as energy efficient lighting, rainwater harvesting, smart metering, recycled toilet water and end-of-trip facilities are designed to minimise environmental output, reduce energy bills and create savings for customers.
